A Tragedy

Although I don’t tend to write much of my personal life on this cooking blog, I wanted to take a minute to let all of you wonderful, loyal subscribers know that we had a major tragedy befall us last weekend. Our home and all possessions were in a fire and nothing is left but the few pieces of clothing we had on. However, I feel so blessed and lucky that no one was hurt, because in the end that is all that matters. Obviously it is going to take a long time to get our lives back together, and with no computer and a loss of every image we have ever taken, it will be tough getting back into the swing of blogging on here again. Truthfully, I need the distraction of cooking and blogging because it is my favorite thing to do, but I’ve fallen behind and it’s still too soon to tell how often I will be on here.
I know I owe no explanation, but it breaks my heart to not be able to do what I love as much or as often as I’d like. I’ve gotten many emails from you guys asking where I have been, so I figured I would reach out and fill you guys in.
I thank you all in advance for your support and love. So many of you have made me feel so great over the past few years with our interactions and kind words on here, and you’ve all given more joy to my life with your interest, which allows me to keep motivation and this site going.

So much love, and talk to you all soon.

P.S. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Xo Jessica
