‘Cinnamon Girl’ Plumping Lip Scrub

“I wanna live with a cinnamon girl, so I can be happy the rest of my life with a cinnamon girl”. If you know the famous song by Neil Young, I bet as soon as you read the title of this post the song got stuck in your head. Happens to me every time! Anyway, I’m here to share with you my very wonderful new homemade beauty product, made from scratch out of things in your kitchen!

I’m sure that you’ve all seen many different brands of those “lip plumpers” on the market, and most of them are preeetty pricy. Wanna know what their secret ingredient usually is? Cinnamon. Cinnamon oil or moistened cinnamon applied to the lips acts as an irritant- basically like an allergic reaction (sounds pleasant, doesn’t it?). But really, it’s harmless (as long as you aren’t REALLY allergic to cinnamon). It temporarily plumps up your lips and makes them appear fuller. Unlike the store brands, this one doesn’t hurt or sting, and it’s a triple whammy. After a long winter, my lips are in desperate need of a good scrubbing and moisturizing. This does all three things at the same time, leaving you with smooth, moisturized, plump, kissable lips. What could be better than that?!  Oh, and did I mention the fact that this product is ALL NATURAL? You could eat it if you wanted to, and when it comes to putting something on your lips, that’s how it should be.

My bet is that if you did a blind comparison between this and a $40 lip plumper, you’d be amazed to find that this one works better, smells better, TASTES better, and all around leaves your lips feeling better.

Try it out, it costs less than 50 cents to make!
